3. How We Use Information

We do not use your personal information to train machine learning or artificial intelligence models, and we do not permit our service providers to do so.

4. Legal Bases

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Platform and preventing fraud and harm; your consent, for example for optional device permissions and marketing; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share the personal information of any user we know to be under 16.

We share information only as follows:

6. Service Providers

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseApplication database and backend hosting
Vercel Inc.Website hosting and delivery
Apple Inc. / Google LLCApp distribution, crash reporting and push notification delivery
Email and messaging providersTransactional and marketing email delivery

Service providers are permitted to use personal information only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not currently use a payment processor, because we do not process payments. This list may change; we will keep it current, and we will update it before any payment processor begins handling personal information for us.

7. Payments

We do not collect, process, store or transmit any payment information. No card numbers, no bank details, no billing addresses, no payment history. Payment for a provider's services is arranged and made directly between you and that provider, outside the Platform.

We also do not currently sell any in-app purchase or subscription, so we receive no billing data from Apple or Google.

Do not send payment card numbers, bank details or other financial account information through in-app messaging. Messages are not a secure payment channel.

If we introduce payment processing in future, we will update this Policy before that functionality is switched on, naming the processor and describing exactly what payment-related information is collected and why.

8. Children's Privacy

Account holders must be 18 or older. The Platform is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 13.

Wrestling is a youth sport, so we expect athlete profiles to describe minors. Those profiles are created, controlled and consented to by the parent or legal guardian who holds the account. By creating an athlete profile you confirm you are that minor's parent or legal guardian and consent to our handling of that information as described here.

To limit exposure of minors' information, we apply the following practices:

Parents and guardians may review, correct or delete a minor's profile at any time in the app, or by emailing contact@wresthub.com. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Public Profiles and Messaging

If you list as a coach, club or camp organizer, the information in your listing is publicly visible, including on the web and to search engines, and may be featured in our marketing and on our social media accounts. Do not include anything in a listing that you do not want to be public, such as a home address.

Reviews and ratings you submit may be displayed publicly with the reviewer's first name or initials. Messages sent through the Platform are stored on our systems and may be reviewed where necessary to investigate a safety concern, a dispute, suspected fraud, or a violation of our Terms.

10. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies for basic functionality and may use limited first-party analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not run advertising networks or ad SDKs in our mobile application.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality. If we introduce additional analytics or tracking technologies, we will update this Policy and, where required, obtain consent.

11. Mobile Permissions

Our app may ask permission to access the following. Each is optional and you can decline or change it at any time in your device settings.

PermissionWhy we ask
LocationTo show coaches, clubs and camps near you and sort results by distance. Declining still lets you search by state or postal code.
NotificationsTo deliver booking confirmations and changes, messages from coaches, and important account or safety notices.
Camera and photo libraryOnly if you choose to upload a profile photo or listing image.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Platform. After account deletion we remove or de-identify your profile and athlete profiles, except where we must retain records:

Aggregate and de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for our database, role-based access controls, row-level security, least-privilege access for personnel and contractors, and, because we do not process payments, no card data enters our systems at all.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator as required by applicable law. Report a suspected vulnerability to contact@wresthub.com.

14. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you live, you can:

To exercise any right, email contact@wresthub.com. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

15. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted without a right to limit.

In the preceding twelve months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation, and audio-visual information in the form of profile photographs), for the purposes in Section 3, from the sources in Section 2, and have disclosed them for business purposes to the recipients in Sections 5 and 6. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

16. Other U.S. State Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, may have rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. We do not conduct targeted advertising, sell personal information, or engage in profiling with legal effects.

Exercise these rights by emailing contact@wresthub.com. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the subject line “Privacy Appeal,” and we will respond within the period required by your state's law.

17. International Users

The Platform is intended for users in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

18. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common industry standard for responding to them, and we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We also do not engage in the cross-site tracking those signals are designed to limit.

19. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice by posting the updated Policy with a new Effective Date and, where appropriate, by in-app notice or email to the address on your account. Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
